Pastors Joe and Rose Watterson, are the Senior Pastors of Waves of Refreshing Christian Fellowship in LaPorte, IN. They have been married for 34 years and have 5 children and 7 grandchildren .
At the age of 30, Pastor Joe became born again, that radically changed his life. He has served as a Children's Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and now serves as Senior Pastor. They are under the covering of Pastor Bidal Torrez, of Valley Harvest Church, Neenah Wisconsin.
In 2005, Waves of Refreshing started in their home, and quickly outgrew their surroundings. It moved to a conference room at a local Best Western. There they started bringing in dynamic glory speakers and teachers from around the country.
In the year 2007 the church moved to Michigan City, IN. They have established a prophetic and glory ministry, crying out with deep passion and desire for our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. The ministry has been known for many healings in God's presence and bringing the church into revival and renewal.
In 2009, Waves helped start Everlasting River Fellowship, a new church plant in North Judson, IN. The "ER" fellowship is pastored by Larry and Essie Clemons with Pastor Joe's apostolic covering.
In 2012 the church moved to La Porte where they still meet.
For the past 22 years Pastor Joe has sought after the presence of God and has lived in manifestation of His Glory. The search has led him deeply into worship and the word of God. Through dynamic prophetic worship, apostolic teachings (mixed with humor), and a Father's Love, Pastor Joe brings the children of God into their destinies and purposes, changing their lives forever.
He has had the vision to develop a regional prayer network called Great Lakes Prophetic Prayer Gathering. The network reaches Northern Indiana and Chicagoland bringing God's glory and presence through prophetic declaration, worship and intercession.
We have a group of people meeting every Monday in Lansing, Illinois. Praying for our nation, cities, and states. If you would like to join them contact Pastor Joe Watterson.
